Sketchbook Shuffle-AKA The Playing Card Project
Over forty artists have collaborated together to create a playable deck of cards based on unique visions and voices. As a part of my residency project at Half Crown Creative, I displayed a deck of cards on the wall that visitors to the studio could choose from to add to the project. Each artist had QR codes featured in the gallery and links to each are enclosed below. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to participate and work in the medium of their choice to craft a collaborative project. Our artists range in age from 9-82 and are from Ft. Collins Colorado, Oregon, California and Texas!!! Submitted pieces have been created in watercolor, acrylic, collage, linoleum carving, AI, digital designs, pen and ink, marker, sculpture and photography. It’s been absolutely amazing to see the creativity and dedication to craft that everyone submitted. Below is an image of each card created and link to the artist.
