Taking inspiration from some of our favorite graffiti walls and fonts we’ll create our own tiny masterpieces on fabric with sewn embellishments. Denver muralists Risa Friedman of We Were Wild and artist Wiser Owner will be on hand talking about all the unique ways you can take wild style art into other projects from tattoos to car wraps and woodworking.
Part of the Art Park al Fresco series this July and August we'll be making a host of unconventional and totally cool interactive objects together, from building tiny Art Cars to making needle point graffiti- we'll be working in all types of mediums with art making for every age. Workshops are free with all supplies included. Kids, teens and their adult friends are all encouraged to participate with individual and group projects.
We’ll have some snacks on hand and you’re also welcome to bring a blanket and picnic dinner to chill with us in the park.
Meet at the RiNo Art Park 1900 35th St, Denver, CO 80216
