In celebration of National Poetry Month, we will use paint chip samples to create verbal & visual poems by cutting & pasting the samples into a collage. Let the random words guide your poem, or create something motivated by entirely color!
Blushing Rose Bud, Mood Indigo, Pudding Pot, Azure Blue & Patriot Red… color pallets evoke a mood, guide design choices and even take a political stance! But without adjectives to name these colors, how can we describe the subjective nature of colors? Are words and colors disparate abstracts? And how does understanding color lend itself to poetry? Enjoy crafting & conversation at this unique event!
