Projects featured on this blog are an eclectic collection of work and experiences from craft  writer and amateur trouble maker Shawn Gascoyne- Bowman.  Part Girl Friday, part Willy Wonka, Bowman specializes in creating humorous modern artifacts, subversive writing, workshop instruction and a host of other crazy schemes.

Bowman is passionate about creating and enabling creative communities- from connecting kid filmmakers around the globe with appreciative audiences in Indiekid Films to empowering young comic artists with the Sunnyside Comic Club to meeting up with grown-ups over a beer to makesomething unexpected out of their empty six-pack and find their inner artist.

Ever the one for adventure, Bowman takes on the occasional practical job consulting with creative types on small business start ups, marketing and social media strategies, teaching  workshops, and developing one of a kind practical and impractical objects.
